Hello my dearest Anne

Thank you for the welcome! This forum is a wonderful initiative. I will inform my RCIA family and get them to register. Yes, we are a wonderful group and ALL of us are looking forward with great expectation to become part of the parish family very soon. What a journey! Of course most importantly we were very blessed to be guided by such inspirational people as Joan, Steven, Godfrey, Gary and Barry. It was also wonderful to have Father David joining in from time to time.

And amidst it all - times of change for the parish and church. It is very interesting to listen and read about the reactions. I have always believed that we should embrace ALL change as an opportunity to grow spiritually and ultimately in our Christian faith. Our first reaction should always be inwardly and honestly. Never a knee-jerk and over-emotional reaction. And never ever stirring and divisive.

Interesting what we come to learn about ourselves when we investigate the real cause for our reactions/concerns!

This forum could become an important space for challenging (ourselves first) and the communication of ideas. Ultimately a unifying sharing of our faith.

It is good to see you here!

Always yours in Christ,

Elmien

RE: Welcome, Elmien!
Yes! Well said! The forum will be a great community place to discuss hot issues, or anything that is on a member's mind. Here we can have our say, hear what others think and feel, and grow together. In fact, the possibilities are endless. One of the exciting things about a community like ours, is the wide diversity of backgound, opinion and personal styles. We all have a home in the parish commnity, and here is an opportunity to voice opinions, and to sound out the views of others.

It's by spreading the word, and coaxing people to register and have their say, that this forum can grow from strength to strength, wether it be spiritual discussions, or just popping in to say hello.

Thank You for spreading the news.

Hi Elmien

Hope you had a lovely birthday.

I would never have found out about this forum if I hadn't been looking for Colin's e-mail address on the church's website. How come neither you nor Phil said anything? Or did you on one the nights when we were not there?

Love

Candy

Hey Candy!

Thank you again for the good wishes. A wonderful day thank you.
And I apologise if I did not say anything to you and John. I also happened to see the forum per chance ... I mentioned it everytime I saw one of the class but I don't think I did a good enough job!:Angel
Apologies! Maybe I am too much in awe at the moment.

much love,

elmien
