Thumbs Down RE: Website Suggestions / Gripes
Congratulations on a very impressive and innovative website. Having relocated from Jnb to Cape Town I have to say that you guys are one up on the Gautengers when it to technology. The website is very informative at the touch of a button on my cell.

Thanks

Remember to register on the parish website to create your profile so that the parish database can be kept up to date and accurate, and allows you to request reminders about events.

Hey Colin - how about a liturgical calendar for the website? It would be great to see the readings for the day and check what feasts and celebrations are coming up.

It's a good idea, but I see one problem with it: maintenance. It's alot of work to keep it up to date. Of course if you'd volunteer to be the care taker of it - I'll look at implementing a structure for you to edit it Smile Deal?

I'm busy finalising the roster system at the moment, so that Readers, Extra-ordinary Ministers of the Eucharist, Projectoror Operators, etc can see when they are on duty, print out the monthly roster, and see other who they could contact, if they are unable to attend their commitment. Once I'm done with that, I'll look at your suggestion if you'd like.

Rolleyes Well I put the liturgy sheets together on a weekly basis, a week in advance. So what I can do is just email or show me where to put this and we can have the feast days and the weekly readings available to those who wish to make use of them. I usually finalise my liturgy sheet by no later than Thursday of the week so that I can print them for the weekend masses. It is just a suggestion or perhaps Philip you would like to take up this request and maintain it.

Thanks for all the suggestions so far, keep them rolling in.

Hi Colin

I can't find where the roster is again. I'm attaching the form I use when I have projector duty. I'm not sure if the person on duty will be choosing their own hymns but assume so, though not sure if they know this as it was not discussed.
