Hey all!
As the leader of the youth music ministry at our parish I feel that this thread is long overdue.
We want the worship at mass to be amazing for all who attend.
We also want to know what you all like/enjoy, what you think works, what dose not? What things should we work on? what things should we maybe add? or anything we should drop?
Music ideas such as song selection and similar issues.
Anything is welcome as we want to make our contribution to our parishes worship and mass more amazing than ever!

The music on youth masses is fantastic, thanks Jonathan - you've got a rather thankless job it seems. Plenty hours go into it, unseen by us.
My suggestion makes me sound like a real stuck record,
but I find it missing when we go to 6:30pm Mass, that the prayers, etc are not projected. When are you guys importing songs?

Thanks, Jonathan. I love Youth Mass. You and your team are doing a really great job, so please keep doing just what you do.
The only suggestion I can make is that I'd love the band to play one more song after the recessional song. People always stay in their places till the recessional song is finished, so there isn't any music playing as they leave.... besides, another vibey praise song at the end of Mass is always a bonus imho.

Oh! the other thing is... maybe some actual YOUTH should reply to your post instead of people past their teens, and in my case well PAST teens!

well the music is fine but the only problem is that, the songs are the same week in and week out there`s no suprises, the band is using the same songs all the time
.
there are many songs in the hyme book, playing different song let`s say per month will make the youth mass more interesting
.
